Forgiving by design
Routinely tracks a strength score, not a fragile chain. Show up and it grows; miss a day and it dips a little — never to zero. You come back the next morning already ahead, instead of starting over from nothing. That's the difference between an app you quit in week three and a habit that lasts.
Everything in one calm app
Routines, planning, analytics, and gentle accountability — designed to feel encouraging, never punishing.
Group habits into a morning routine, an evening wind-down, or a focus block, then run them as a guided session.
A GitHub-style contribution graph, trends, and your most reliable days — the analytics that keep you honest.
Freeze tokens shield your streak on the days life gets in the way. Consistency over perfection, always.
Link a habit to Apple Health and it checks itself off from your steps, workouts, mindful minutes, and sleep.
Invite a friend, share a streak, and send a gentle nudge. Support that pulls you back — never public shame.
Smart nudges timed to when each routine actually happens, with a gentle last-call before the day closes.
Free to start. Build routines, not just habits — and finally become the person who follows through.
Download on the App StoreThis policy explains what Routinely collects, why, and the choices you have. We built Routinely to be forgiving with your habits and careful with your data. We do not sell your personal information.
Routinely is operated by Kode Foundry. For any privacy question, email hello@kodefoundry.com.
If you link a habit to Apple Health, Routinely reads the specific data you allow — such as steps, exercise minutes, mindful minutes, and sleep — only to automatically verify that habit. We never use Health data for advertising and we never sell it. Only the resulting check-in (that a habit was completed) is stored with your account. You can revoke Health access at any time in the iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.
If you choose to put money on the line with an optional habit stake, payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe and processed by Stripe under their privacy policy; Routinely does not store your full card number. We keep a Stripe customer reference so a stake you set can be charged if you miss the habit. Subscriptions to Routinely Premium are handled by Apple through the App Store.
We use trusted processors to run Routinely: Google Firebase (authentication, database, cloud functions, and push messaging), Stripe (payments), and Apple (sign-in and push delivery). Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
We share your progress only with the accountability partners you personally invite and accept. We do not sell your personal information or share it for third-party advertising.
You can access and edit your profile in the app, revoke Health access in iOS Settings, and delete your account and data from within the app at any time. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data — email hello@kodefoundry.com and we will help.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems. We protect data with encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
Routinely is rated 4+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Commitment Mode (real-money stakes) is available only to users 18 and older.
We may update this policy; we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
These terms govern your use of the Routinely app. By downloading or using Routinely, you agree to them.
You need an account to use Routinely. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Routinely on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement.
Routinely offers an optional Premium subscription through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
If you enable Commitment Mode on a habit, you authorise Routinely, through our payment processor Stripe, to charge your saved payment method the amount you pledge when you miss that habit on a day it was scheduled and could not be verified. You choose the amount and where forfeited funds go (for example a charity or a partner). You must be 18 or older to use Commitment Mode. Charges triggered by a genuine miss are generally non-refundable. Commitment Mode is a motivational tool, not a savings, investment, or financial product, and Routinely is not a financial institution. Only habits verified by Apple Health or photo proof can trigger an automatic charge.
Routinely supports habit-building and general wellbeing. It does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice, and is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Consult a professional about any health concern.
Don't misuse Routinely: no unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity; no attempting to breach security, reverse-engineer the service, or disrupt other users; and no harassment of accountability partners. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Your habits, notes, and photos are yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, sync, and display that content to operate the app for you and share it with partners you choose.
Routinely is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kode Foundry will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of Routinely. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using Routinely and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms or to comply with the law.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Kode Foundry's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
